With the advancement of Health Care and opening of the corporate and large special hospitals, the demand for the healthcare professions has increased tremendously. Health education will provide not only gainful employment but also the social establishment and prestige to the youth. Manjari Devi College and School of Nursing had its humble beginning in the year 2005 with a limited resource in hand. Within a short span the institution has become popular and renowned for its disciplined and qualitative education. M.Sc. Nursing Course has been introduced from the academic session 2013-14.

Needless to say that when our state was passing through extreme dearth of trained nursing personnel the institution has played significant role in generating trained nursing personnel and now it has not only bridged the gap of demand and supply of our state, rather the passed out students have fulfilled the requirement of our neighbouring states like West Bengal, Bihar and Chhattisgarh.

I wish the institution should continue in its mission by utilizing the available resources to earn reputation from all corners.
